  • Full-Time
  • On-Site

Job Description:

As YVIS Store grows across our retail branches, we're bringing our accounting function fully in-house. We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Accountant to own the full cycle — from supplier invoices to VAT filings to product costing — and build the financial backbone this business needs as we scale.

As the sole in-house accountant, you'll take full ownership of the company's accounting operations — keeping our financial records accurate, compliant, and up to date across the following areas:

Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate AP records and aging reports

Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Issue customer invoices and track outstanding balances

  • Follow up on overdue payments and manage collections

  • Reconcile the AR ledger and prepare aging reports

General Ledger (GL)

  • Record and maintain accurate journal entries on a daily and monthly basis

  • Perform monthly account reconciliations

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Prepare trial balances and support financial statement preparation

Tax & Compliance

  • Prepare and file monthly VAT returns and withholding tax (WHT) submissions

  • Coordinate with the external auditor for the annual audit

  • Ensure compliance with the Thai Revenue Code and accounting standards

General Accounting Support

  • Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems

  • Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis

  • Liaise with banks for payment processing and account reconciliation

Product Costing

  • Calculate and maintain product costs (material, labor, overhead) and update standard/actual cost records

  • Analyze variances between standard and actual costs and investigate root causes

  • Work with production/operations teams to track inventory costing and valuation (FIFO/weighted average)

  • Prepare COGS analysis and support margin/profitability reporting by product

  • Review and update BOM (bill of materials) costing where applicable

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience covering AP, AR, and GL

  • Solid understanding of Thai tax regulations (VAT, WHT, CIT)

  • Proficiency in accounting software (PEAK)

  • Strong Excel/Googlee Sheet skills and AI Proficientcy

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently

  • Good communication skills in Thai

Nice to Have:

  • Basic English proficiency
