Creative Content Strategist Senior Associate
Job Description:
The Creative Content Strategist turns the Marketing Director's marketing direction into content angles, hooks, storytelling, content pillars, mood direction, format ideas, and content examples.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Angles & Product Communication
- Develop content angles for launches, product pushes, BAU products, campaigns, and collections.
- Define the most effective way to communicate each product, whether through emotional storytelling, education, trends, founder stories, styling inspiration, customer reviews, hype, or direct selling.
- Transform product features and information into customer-friendly stories that are relatable, engaging, and easy to understand.
- Ensure product communication aligns with both campaign objectives and customer motivations.
2. YVIS Content Pillars
- Create, define, and maintain YVIS content pillars.
- Establish the core content categories that should consistently appear across channels.
- Ensure content pillars support brand awareness, customer education, product discovery, conversion, and community engagement.
- Regularly refine content pillars based on business priorities and audience behavior.
3. Hooks, Concepts & Storytelling Frameworks
- Develop hooks, content concepts, video ideas, carousel structures, and storytelling frameworks.
- Provide content references and examples to help creators execute content effectively.
- Build repeatable frameworks for launches, BAU content, product education, styling content, KOL content, and advertising creatives.
- Help the team create content that is engaging, clear, and easy to produce.
4. Mood Direction & Content Look
- Define the visual and communication direction for campaigns, collections, and product pushes.
- Ensure content mood aligns with campaign messaging and YVIS brand identity.
- Provide guidance on styling, visual references, tone of voice, and communication style.
- Collaborate with creative teams to maintain consistency across content outputs.
5. Creator Direction & Content Review
- Work closely with the TikTok Content Creator and Content Creator to guide content development.
- Review content ideas before production to ensure alignment with YVIS standards and objectives.
- Provide feedback on content angles, hooks, scripts, Stories, videos, and storytelling approaches.
- Improve content quality before production to reduce revisions and off-brand execution.
6. Hands-On Content Creation When Necessary
- Create content directly when needed, particularly for urgent campaigns, content experiments, founder-style content, concept demonstrations, or key launches.
- Write captions, hooks, scripts, Story copy, Reel concepts, TikTok concepts, carousel copy, and KOL talking points when required.
- Support content production when additional creative resources are needed.
- Provide example content to help creators understand the intended direction and execution.
7. Creative Performance Learning
- Review content performance from a creative and storytelling perspective.
- Identify high-performing content angles, hooks, formats, storytelling styles, and visual approaches.
- Recommend what should be scaled, improved, refreshed, or discontinued.
- Share creative insights with the Marketing Director, Social Media Content Planner, Content Creator, and TikTok Content Creator.
- Apply performance learnings to strengthen future content strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Arts, Media, Fashion, Design, Creative Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- 2β4 years of experience in content strategy, creative content, social media, copywriting, branding, campaign content, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, retail, or related fields.
- Experience developing content angles, hooks, storytelling frameworks, content pillars, or campaign concepts.
- Experience creating social media content, captions, scripts, short-form videos, or content examples is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, short-form video, KOL content, and social media trends.
- Strong eye for visual direction, styling, mood, aesthetics, and brand tone.
- Ability to review content and provide constructive creative feedback.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with frequent launches and shifting priorities.
- Experience in fashion, jewelry, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or retail brands is a plus.
- Portfolio or examples of content concepts, campaign ideas, copywriting, or social media work are preferred.
